IAPA

We have always attached strong importance to international connections and therefore made the decision a few years ago to join IAPA (a global association of independent accounting firms and groups - IAPA). An international association with its headquarters in Great Britain, IAPA has a professional presence throughout the world.

Our aim has been to provide clients with a wider spectrum of business advisory services now that international trade and business is growing so fast. IAPA affords this opportunity and at a local level, wherever clients may want to do business.

Many of the member firms are well known to us, and when assistance is required in other countries we can advise on who to contact.

This years European Conference will take place in Malta in May and the Americas Conference will be held in June, in San Antonio Texas; Asec will be present n both these events. As for the International Conference, we are very proud to say that Asec will act as host in the vibrant city of Madrid.

*IAPA  is a global association of separate and independently owned and managed accountancy firms.  IAPA does not provide client services and it does not accept responsibility or liability for the acts or omissions of its members.  Likewise, the members of IAPA are separate and independent legal entities, and as such each has no responsibility or liability for the acts or omissions of other members.
While IAPA may include within its membership groupings of firms that together may form “networks” as defined by the IFAC Code of Ethics (Section 290) and the European Union Statutory Audit (revised 8th Company Law) Directive, IAPA is not a “network” in its own right, and thus is exempt from regulations applicable to “networks.”

THE UK200 GROUP

In 2001 we became International Associate members of The UK 200 Group, the largest mutual association of its kind of well established firms of Chartered Accountants covering the whole of the UK, with nearly 200 member firms. We attach great importance on having an international presence and representation, and with the vast numbers of people from the UK now moving to and investing in Spain, we believe that the UK 200 Group is the perfect organisation for us. The professional objectives of the group are as follows:

  • Continually improve standards.
  • Provide comprehensive services to clients.
  • Create influence within the commercial world for the benefit of clients.
  • Act as a representative voice to the Institutes of Chartered Accountants.

The UK 200 Group is the UK National Accounting group of IAPA, and as such, we consider membership to be a valuable asset to our firm.
